General Overview of Capchase Pay

What is Capchase Pay?

Capchase Pay is a flexible payment solution that enables your company to offer your customers flexible payment terms while collecting the ACV upfront. This will help you reduce buying friction and close your deals faster. It helps your customers optimize their cash flow.

Say goodbye to stalled deals

Offer your customers the ability to spread out their contract payments to meet their budget constraints and avoid last-minute negotiations that delay closing.

Make more money

Instead of discounting to get your customers to pay annually upfront, use Capchase Pay’s flexible payment option to get the full ACV and higher compensation.

Easy to use

Use it within your CRM or in the Capchase portal. Check your customer’s eligibility and send a payment link with a few clicks, then we take care of the rest.

Capchase terminology

  • Buyer: your customer
  • KYB, Know Your Business: refers to our buyer qualification process where Capchase performs (behind in the scenes, in minutes) business entity verification, sanctions screening, and other fraud and compliance checks that are either required by law and/or are a part of our platform’s best practices
  • Payment link: this is the way the flexible payment options are presented to your buyer. The link can be emailed, or copied and shared via any channel with your buyer. Your buyer selects their preferred payment timing and method, and agrees to the installment plan via this link.
  • Vendor Hub: the Capchase Pay application where a SaaS Vendor and their users can manage all of their Capchase Pay activity. Many of the capabilities in the Vendor Hub can be done in Salesforce or HubSpot instead based on Vendor preference.
  • Finance Panel: this is where Finance teams can view and download deal statuses, outstanding balances, payments from Buyer, and more. You can find it in the navigation bar under the Pay section in the Vendor Hub. Learn more
  • Buyer Pay Portal: this is where your Buyers can manage and see the details of all the contracts they’re paying using Capchase Pay. Learn more

How it works

Use Capchase Pay to offer flexible payment options to your customers, reducing buying friction and improving your customers’ experience.

You can use Capchase Pay in our Vendor Hub, from Salesforce or HubSpot, or even embed it into your digital checkout process. Many of our Vendors use one of the following standard flows; however, we can easily customize the flow to fit your business needs, adding more or less automation in the process.

  • Sales-led growth model

We offer the ability for Account Executives to “control” the process flow so they can use the flexible payments option as part of their negotiation process and incorporate it into their closing process. Or, the option for it to be more low-touch for an AE, and more trigger-based automation on the Capchase Pay process steps.

  • Steps that can be automated for AE low-touch, high-velocity sales:
    • Automated buyer qualification triggered by a deal moving to a designated stage
    • Upload a pdf to automatically create the subscription details on the payment link
    • Select products from the CRM or CPQ to automatically create the subscription details on the payment link

  • Digital checkout experience
      • An option for companies with a Product-led growth model where their customers purchase online through a checkout experience. Capchase Pay is completely embedded into that process where the customer elects how they want to pay, goes through an instant eligibility check and sees their installment option (payment link) if eligible for it.
